Heat ShotRashida K. Meggett is a New York based fashion stylist & image consultant. Styling since 2006, she’s worked with some very notable people starting out as an intern at B Lynn Group Agency where she worked with musicians; Jermaine Dupri, Rihanna, & Jay-Z, and magazines; Elle, Vibe & Essence. She began assisting various stylist to gain more experience behind the scenes. She worked on a number of commercials for the MTV network; assisted on several Nikon camera ad campaigns, various editorial & advertisement photo shoots.  That is when she gained insight into the different realms of styling, learning about photo shoot styling, tv & movie costume designing & celebrity styling .  After a year of assisting various stylist, she landed her first assistant position with Stylewise, and supported lead stylist Alisha Crutchfield, working with Stylewise day in and day out on a number of projects, from music videos to red carpet appearances to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  She’s worked with Universal Records artists like, Lil Wayne, Lloyd, Shontelle, & Kid Cudi  styling their photo shoots, album packaging, promotional photos, music videos & award show performances.  After several months of prepping, visiting showrooms in NYC, traveling the world for different projects, she was promoted to Associate Stylist with Stylewise.   They were the glam team involved in all of Russell Simmons branding of his latest collection Argyleculture and the subsidiary brands; working with models such as Tyson Beckford for the Macy’s campaign and billboard and in store campaigns for JCPenny and Walmart.  She’s styled fashion shows for the brand during New York Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week and other charitable shows also styling Russell Simmons himself during this time.  In 2009, she landed a stylist position for The Miss Universe Organization.  Under the Fashion Director, she was responsible for providing wardrobe for Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA who attended numerous red carpet events, charity events, television appearances, fashion shows, all of which she provided wardrobe.  She also styled photo shoots for Elle, M & People Magazine to name a few.  She worked on TV Land’s reality show, She’s Got the Look Season 1.  After a few years working with Stylewise, she branched out into freelance styling and branded herself, IAMStyle.  Styled actors, Lynn Whitfield and Keith Robinson; worked on a film and styled a number of editorial shoots for magazines such as; Bambi, Relapse & Factice. On the entertainment side;  she’s styled videos and photo shoots for artist like Diggy Simmons, Gym Class Heros & Teairra Mari to name a few.  She’s also styled athletes Matt Barnes & Iman Schubert.  Currently she’s key e-commerce stylist for loehmanns.com, has teamed up with Swimwear Designer AZ Araujo and working on multiple projects sponsored by Palmers; NY Fashion Week and Miami Fashion Week. She’s most recently teamed up with Way Zen and The JSong International team.
